Attributes

There are three levels of education in SIK, namely SD (abbreviation for Sekolah Dasar or Standard), SLTP (abbreviation for Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Pertama or Junior High), and SMU (abbreviation for Sekolah Menengah Umum or High). 

The students of each level wear the same way of clothing but different in colors. SD wears red, SLTP wears blue, and SMU wears gray. Every student must wear white socks and black shoes. They also must wear each level's badge, and also a significant tie.

• SEKOLAH DASAR
  Basic clothing: 
  a). for boys: upper white shirt and red short
  b). for girls: upper white shirt and red skirt
  Other attributes:
  A school red-colored cap, level badge, name badge, belt, red tie, white socks and black shoes.
• SEKOLAH LANJUTAN TINGKAT PERTAMA
  Basic clothing:
  a). for boys: upper white shirt and dark blue long pants
  b). for girls: upper white shirt and dark blue long/short skirt.
  Other attributes:
  A school dark-blue-colored cap, level badge, name badge, belt, dark blue tie, white socks and black shoes.
• SEKOLAH MENENGAH UMUM
  Basic clothing:
  a). for boys: upper white shirt and gray long pants
  b). for girls: upper white shirt and gray long/short skirt
  Other attributes:
  A school gray-colored cap, level badge, name badge, belt, gray tie, white socks and black shoes.
