Logo and Motto

The logo of SIK was designed by Mr. Karsam, arts teacher and Arif Hidayat Suparlan, an alumnus of SIK. The logo was created by using computer application.

SIK's logo represents three main parts, namely (1) opened book, (2) flower buds, and (3) the motto of SIK. The opened book represents the meaning of "a place for education". The three flower buds mean for three levels of education in Indonesia, namely elementary (SD), junior high (SLTP), and high (SMU). The three buds also represent three targets of education, (1) sacrificing to the God (takwa), (2) intelligence, and (3) talented. The motto is "Caraka Muda", means a young representative or "young envoy" or "young delegation".

School Song

There are two versions of song, in Indonesian language and English language. The title for the song is "Mars Sekolah Indonesia Kuala Lumpur" for Indonesian language, and "Indonesian School Song" for English language.

The song was composed by Mr. H. Suhaimi Nasution, a musician and also a music teacher of SIK. The song is presented in choir in every important events.
